Package Development Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Package Development Engineer to join a team dedicated to developing sustainable package solutions. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional scrum team responsible for driving package development, technical specification development, and validation. You will work on projects developing new packages, packaging materials, and filling machine equipment. Responsibilities include supporting the translation of stakeholder requirements into sub-system requirements, driving risk assessment, defining and executing V&V strategies, writing test specifications, performing tests, analyzing package performance, aligning technical recommendations with stakeholders, coordinating package activities, driving root cause investigations, and developing new procedures and validation methods.

Basic qualifications

- Experience in the Packaging industry
- Academic degree in engineering, preferably Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Networking skills and ability to manage stakeholders
- Analytical skills, structured and process-oriented
- Knowledge in statistics (Minitab software skills is a plus)
- Team player with initiative and drive
- Knowledge of scrum and agile methodologies
- Well-acquainted and self-sufficient in Physical Testing
- Product development process knowledge, including risk assessment and requirements management

Meritorious skills, characteristics and experience

- Past experience in the Product development process in the Package area
- Knowledge about test methods in primary & secondary package area
