Mechanical engineer to customer in automotive

Sigma Industry South Helsingborg/Halmstad is looking for engineers for the automotive industry, where we would like to see 3-4 years of relevant experience or other meritorious experience. You are placed at customers site.

You will work in Catia V5/V6 specifically solid, sheet metal, surface modeling, assemblies and generate 2D drawings. Collaboration is the key to success as you will provide the basis for production and support other departments and suppliers in technical matters.

Roles may include milling/turning, welding, plastics, interior design, fluid dynamics and thermal management taking place in a goal-oriented work environment with rapid changes during the course of the work.

Basic qualifications

Good knowledge of Catia V5 & V6

Good engineering judgment

Good knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances

Previous experience with PLM systems

Ability to write technical documents and reports

Technical background in manufacturing and prototyping

Meritorious skills in:

Monitor ERP systems

DFMEA

FEM analysis

Meritorious skills, characteristics and experience

Graduated as a university or civil engineer in mechanical engineering

Good cooperation and communication skills within the team and other teams

English is the business language, so good knowledge is a requirement.
